French Catholic Board hosts “Welcome to Kindergarten” events in May and June


Kindergarten registration is underway at the Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon schools

Registration for junior and senior kindergartens at Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon schools is ongoing.

Parents wishing to discover the school in their community, as well as the pre-school learning areas, are invited to get in touch with their French-speaking Catholic school.

Children born in 2018 who will start school in September 2022 and children born in 2017 who are currently being homeschooled will also be invited to take part in the welcome events in kindergarten (Fête à la maternelle), which will take place in May and June take place CSC Nouvelon elementary schools.

Conseil scolaire catholique Nouvelon schools offer comprehensive special needs programs, a quality English program from grade 4 to ensure sustained bilingualism, a curriculum infused with Catholic values, access to the latest technology and an environment that encourages and encourages a sense of Francophones culture and identity.

Students at CSC Nouvelon schools also achieve excellent academic results, graduating with a high level of bilingualism and a solid knowledge of the French language, according to a school board press release.

CSC Nouvelon welcomes children of Canadian citizens or immigrants whose first language is French and still understands it, and children of Canadian citizens whose grandparents were French as their first language.

Children from immigrant families whose parents speak neither French nor English are also eligible.
