Stephanie Flanders is Senior Executive Editor and Head of Economics at finance, software, data and media company Bloomberg. Previously, Stephanie was Chief Market Strategist for the UK and Europe at JP Morgan Asset Management, where she provided economic and financial market insights to thousands of professional investors in the UK, Europe and globally.

Stephanie was also Chair of the Royal Society of Arts’ Inclusive Growth Commission, which presented its final report in Spring 2017, and also appears occasionally as a financial and economics expert on BBC programmes.

Mike Cagney

Mike Cagney is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Figure, where he leads the company’s strategy and development. Mike brings decades of financial industry experience to his leadership of the company and was previously CEO, Chairman and Co-Founder of SoFi, a leading marketplace lender offering student loan, mortgage and personal loan refinancing and a range of asset management services.

He is also a co-founder and executive director of Cabezon Investment Group, a global macro hedge fund, and also serves as non-executive chairman of ReFlow. Prior to founding Cabezon, Mike was CEO and then Vice Chairman and Chief Architect of Finaplex, a leading provider of wealth management software that was sold to Broadridge (NYSE: BR). Prior to Finaplex, Mike was senior vice president and head trader for the proprietary trading and financial products group at Wells Fargo Bank. Mike holds an MS in Management from Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a Sloan Fellow. He also has an MS in Applied Economics and a BA in Economics from UC Santa Cruz.

Randy Quarles

Randal K Quarles, Chairman, The Cynosure Group and Past Vice Chairman, Federal Reserve System

Randal Quarles is Chairman and Co-Founder of The Cynosure Group, an investment firm that brings together several of the largest family offices in the United States to make long-term private investments. From October 2017 to December 2021, Mr. Quarles served as Governor of the Federal Reserve System and served as First Vice Chairman for oversight of the system tasked with ensuring financial sector stability. From December 2018 to December 2021, he also served as Chair of the Financial Stability Board, a global body established after the Great Financial Crisis to coordinate international efforts to improve financial stability. Earlier in his career, Mr. Quarles was a long-time partner at The Carlyle Group, a leading global private equity firm, and before that a partner at Davis Polk & Wardwell, where he was co-head of the financial services practice. Mr. Quarles has been a close adviser to all Republican Treasury secretaries for the past 35 years, including as Undersecretary of the Treasury Department in the Bush ’43 administration. He has represented the United States in the Group of Seven, the Group of Twenty, and the Financial Stability Forum, and was also the US Executive Director of the IMF.

Alastair Lukes

Alastair Luke’s CBE, Technology entrepreneur, CEO and co-founder Pollinate, Chairman of the FinTech Alliance

Alastair Lukies CBE is a British businessman and entrepreneur best known for pioneering and championing the UK’s global fintech industry. He has been at the forefront of the UK fintech industry, working with financial institutions, investors and regulators to foster collaboration and mutual benefit across the ecosystem.

Al is the founder and CEO of Pollinate International. He is also Chair of the Fintech Alliance, Vice Chair of the Global Advisory Council at Motive Partners and sits on the Prime Minister’s Business Council.

Prior to Pollinate, Al founded Monitise and received a CBE in Mobile Banking and Charity Services in June 2014.
