Online coaching for students seeking admission to Meritorious Schools: The Tribune India

The Education Department has started online coaching for students seeking admission to Meritorious Schools. Recorded lectures for science, social sciences, English and other subjects were uploaded to the department’s Educare app. Live interactive sessions are also planned between teachers and students in case the students have difficulties in the lectures or in the learning material provided by the teachers.

Speaking to The Tribune, when asked by students and teachers, Deepak Kumar, one of the developers of the Educare app and a maths teacher at Government Senior Secondary School, Nurmahal, said the department has decided to offer students online coaching for meritorious school admissions.

He further said that the app already has sample exam papers, daily slides, exam series, etc. for almost every class. Also uploaded textbooks, videos and lectures on various subjects of Class X that would help the students.

“There are more than 72,000 downloads of the Punjab Educare app. Not only Punjab teachers and students have taken advantage of the learning materials provided in this app, but also teachers and students from other states, J&K have downloaded this app,” he added. The Meritorious Schools exam is scheduled for April 24th.
