Long-haul airline Virgin Atlantic has unveiled a range of new experiences that will be available exclusively on its A350 jets. The latest innovation – dubbed The Booth – is tucked away in the Upper Class cabin with comfortable lounge-style seating.

It offers a range of experiences for two, including private dining and wine and cognac tastings. Wine tasting marks the first time drinks from The Uncommon will be served aboard Virgin Atlantic.

The Uncommon is Britain’s leading producer of wine in a can, paving the way for a new English wine era with its locally grown, sustainably produced wines and spritzers. Customers in The Booth can sample a choice of three wines, including an English white, rosé and a lighter spritzer – perfect for tantalizing taste buds at 38,000 feet.

For customers looking for a slightly richer experience, a cognac tasting with Delamain is also available. The producer has been making some of the finest cognacs in the world for more than two centuries and across nine generations.

Other experiences available at The Booth include a “Dinner for Two” private dining experience for two. Customers on the airline’s London Heathrow to Orlando flights, which form the heart of Virgin Atlantic’s leisure programme, will be the first to partake in the stand’s new experiences.

Corneel Koster, Chief Customer and Operations Officer at Virgin Atlantic, commented: “We are always striving to create brilliant, different experiences for our customers and the launch of The Booth demonstrates this perfectly. Renowned for our onboard social areas, The Booth takes customer service to a new level for our leisure travellers.

“Whether it’s sampling The Uncommon’s leading English wines, sipping Delamain’s signature cognac, or simply enjoying a round of rummy at 38,000 feet, we have something for every taste of our customers.”

In the coming months, the airline hopes to roll out more rich experiences for its customers across its fleet.
